Our Story
Two generations of estimators and field crews.
Greg Halverson and Linnea Reid founded the firm out of a 600 sq ft office on Pacific Highway with a single Caterpillar excavator and a notebook. The first three years were earthworks subbed for bigger GCs across King and Pierce counties. Year four, they self-performed their first commercial slab — a small lab building for a regional university — and never went back.
Today the firm runs three permanent yards — Tacoma, Portland, Boise — and self-performs concrete, framing, and most demolition with crews kept on payroll between jobs. Mechanical, electrical, and finishes go to the same five trade partners on most projects. The work is repeat-client driven; about three quarters of any given year's billings come from owners we've already built for at least once.
The bench is what we sell — owners get the same superintendent and PM from the bid through punch list, and the same trade partners they met on the walkthrough. Schedules stay in our hands because the people who set them are the people who run the work.
